Exhibited at the Oliva Gallery, Chicago, IL for Garage Sale 2.0, an exhibition/garage sale curated by Jess Bass, Rob Sohmer, and Andy Hunt for the Terrain Biennial.

A discarded rear projection TV from the late 1990s sits atop a worn Power Wheels Barbie Jeep. Inside the cavity of the TV, dozens of plastic toys, colorful play foam, styrofoam takeout containers, and other multicolored waste are pressed against the TV's transparent lenticular screen. A smaller TV is pressed against the transparent surface. 90s/00s commercials advertising plastic/foam kids toys play on the screen, boasting that the products 'will last forever'. Each commercial is slowed down to quarter speed such that a deep, menacing voice narrates the scene for each toy.
